This semester we will explore aspects of popular culture through reading and writings. It has been asked of you before, but what do you like about popular culture? What do you dislike about it?
What i do like about pop culture is that it gives you this confidence through music that you may have never had inside of you. For example, someone who is very shy and dont like being out expressing themself will break through out of thier shell. Pop culture will make you feel good about yourself and help you be yourself. i dont thing there is nothing that ill probly will hate about pop culture.
i think that pop culture is unique in a way. i like everything about pop culture it has its own ways to shine. each person and country has its own moves of pop culture,and i like it couse its very energetic and inventive. i dont think i hate pop culture.
There are many different things i like about pop culture.One thing i enjoy about pop culture is the different unique styles of it. for example music, fashion, religion, values, entertainment , and many more. Pop culture gives people a way to express there self in many different ways of life. pop culture is the way of life.
What I like mostly bout pop culture is that it give an individual to find what they like mostly. In pop culture it gives you a variety of entertainment. Such as movie categories, music genres, theatrical plays an many more just to name a few. There is not much I can say about disliking pop culture. In pop culture some people have their opinion about how every type of technology is getting bigger I think its actually interesting. How people are coming up with new idea every few months to a year. What I am saying is I like all kinds of pop culture is interesting to me.
I like a couple of things pop culture. I like that fact that pop culture is well know all over and different all over also. Something I like about pop culture is Music. For example, I know I listen to Lil Wayne he is know as the best rapper alive right now that every1 would say Idk about all that but I do like his music. Another thing I like about pop culture is fashion is my key I know I have my own thing about fashion I sometime like to look my best like being real creative of my own clothes. That is one thing I don’t like looking like evey1 else I like to stand out as an individual.
My Dislike about pop culture is how people thing music is bad. For example, people say that Lil Wayne is a bad person because of all the things he has been locked up for. People say that he is a bad person because he raps about sex, drugs, violence, women, and ect. I feel like because I listen to it that doe’s not make me a bad person that just makes me a person that likes his music that doesn’t mean I am like Lil Wayne. Another Example is fashion when Lil Wayne got his lip done that was when every1 one got there lip done also it just became so popular when he did it, for females and males

what i love so much about popular culture is it have so many different nationalty with their on styles. You get the chance to see different things in life. My dislike about pop culture is that people turn a good thing in abuse what was good an turn it to a bad thing.Like Rap it strat off as being postive rap and now they degrade women, in give off a bad look for kids.
What I like about popular culture is that it's about the styles, traditions, and its music. There are lots of countries in this world and each country has there different culture. For example, where my parents are from we learn how to cook when we are 12 and when we're 15 we have a celebration called Mis Quince Anos, meaning My Sweet 15. In America, they do Sweet 16; and even though its a different custom we can all learn how to balance things. Another example is the types of music we listen to. Most people listen to rap, r & b, hip hop, etc. But I usually listen to hip hop and my latin music as well. We all have different taste in music but at times it all seems the same. I may listen to my latin music while my little cousin listens to rock. Even though we are from the same country we have different thoughts about music its self. So in a way pop culture is like a person's personality; and thats what makes everyone unique. Personaly I any dislikes about pop culture; maybe when I find out more about during this semester I might a a dislike, but for right now I don't. :)
What I like about pop culture are the varieties of cultures put together into one whole. Pop culture has become something that surrounds us in our everyday life and we have to live with it. My favorite thing about pop culture would be the music. Music has become something that helps define your inner self and help release stress that is going on in your life. I like that pop culture has brought people from different backgrounds together through the music industry, internet, media, and Hollywood. Pop culture has become creative on its own way and that is something else I like about pop culture.
I dislike many things about pop culture. One of my dislike of pop culture is how now in most music videos that you see on TVs how they degrade women all the time. What I mean by saying that is they always refer women as an anything and always showing women basically naked on TVs. Also the internet has become a dislike for me as well. Now anybody can go on the internet and see personal things about you and you would not even know about it. Also people sometimes expose things that are personal and people get humiliated and sometimes they can not move on. The internet does not have enough security to satisfy consumers. Children at a young age are being exposed to pop culture and sometimes they are even are born into it. Pop culture you can say is a bad example to everyone because people become followers of this culture.
what i like the most about pop culture is that you can discuss other people's pop cultures and you can also define your own pop culture, for example the way you dress or the music you listen to.
What I like about popular culture is the diversity, styles, music, variety, fashion, etc. What I dislike is the stereotypical things & how people change the positive to negative in popular culture
What I like about pop culture is the diversity and the fashionl. It is different and the styles are alot unique. What i dislike is the people that adjust ther lifestyle to be like these "pop culture" people or celebrities.
The things i like a bout pop culture is that it brings new things and ideas witch can be very interesting to many as in Arts, Movies, Sports, ect. but the things i dislike about pop culture is that we as people get so sucked into theses things which really dont matter and loose touch with ourselfs
I didn’t really know what pop culture was before coming to this class (EN001).reading the articles Ms.beachlor gave us I gained a lot of knowledge about pop culture is the trends fashion aspect. I have a sassy vintage dress code which I think pop culture points out .i don’t have a dislike
